NTX Comic Show: The Summer Showcase The NTX Comic Show returns to the NTX Arena on August 8 and 9 for another big weekend built for comic fans, collectors, and creators alike. With 50+ comic vendors on the floor, prizes being given out all weekend, and featured guests joining us for the show, this is your chance to spend the weekend deep in the hunt. Whether you are chasing key issues, digging through back issue bins, hunting original art, or looking for the next book to add to your stack, this is the place to buy, sell, and trade with fellow collectors from across North Texas and beyond. Featured Guests We are excited to welcome two standout guests to the August NTX Comic Show, giving fans the chance to meet both a modern cover artist making noise right now and a true all-time comic book legend. Both guests will be signing from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM both Saturday and Sunday. Roy Thomas: Roy Thomas is one of the most important writers and editors in comic book history. A former Marvel editor-in-chief, he helped shape the direction of Marvel in a major era and is known for work on titles including The Avengers, Conan the Barbarian, and Star Wars. He also co-created notable characters including Vision and Banshee, making this a rare chance to meet a creator whose fingerprints are all over comic history. Pablo Villalobos: Pablo Villalobos has become a name comic fans recognize for stylish, eye-catching cover work, including recent Marvel covers tied to characters like Spider-Gwen and Daredevil. His work has been featured by Marvel as part of major cover programs, and his art brings a modern, high-energy look that collectors and fans will definitely want to check out in person. Route 66 Comics & Collectibles will be providing CGC Signature Series facilitation and grading submissions for the show.
